Buying a custom engagement ring allows you to make nearly endless selections to build the perfect ring. Here are the different categories we typically group our rings into in order to assist our clients streamline their design process.

Diamond Engagement Rings

If you'd like to include a range of smaller carrat diamonds which crescendo to the center stone, then this would be your ideal choice. Typically, smaller diamonds are placed on the band, bridge, gallery and shoulders to accentuate the main large center diamond. This type of ring will sparkle from every angle as there's always a diamond ready to catch the light and toss off a little twinkle.

Solitaire Engagement Rings

The solitaire design is best suited to allow for a single large diamond to make a statement as it normally employs a single solitary diamond. Refined and simple elegance at its finest, a classic and traditional design that never goes out of style. Solitaire rings can have the diamond set low or high, in a 4 claw or, 6 claw to make the stone appear larger. The solitaire design is also compatible with all diamond shapes.

Halo Engagement Rings

Your center diamond is encircled by a row or several of smaller carat diamonds to ensure your ring appears brilliant from every angle. Compatible with all diamond shapes and also other styles such as the three-stone design for even more diamonds!

Three Stone Engagement Rings

The three diamonds in this design are typically intended to represent past, present and future. Also known as a trinity or trilogy ring, this style has been a classic for many generations. If you want to customize your ring with additional diamonds, you can opt for a halo or more side stones embedded on the band, bridge and shoulders. This flexible design allows for a unique combination of shape and size of diamonds.

Vintage Inspired Engagement Rings

These rings take their cues from the master jewellers of old by using any of the four types of precious stones; diamond, sapphire, ruby and emerald. Choose a very high carat center stone and enrobe it with a halo of diamonds or choose a classical band design, the result will be a pure concoction of your imagination.

Moissanite Engagement Rings

Artfully Crafted, Socially Responsible, Eternally Brilliant.
Moissanite is a naturally occurring mineral, silicon carbide, that is found in limited quantities in the earth. While moissanite exists in nature, it is so incredibly rare that it must be created in a lab to produce pieces large enough to cut into gemstones. When cut and faceted, moissanite is by definition, the world’s most brilliant gem.

Metal Selection

Our in house master jewellers will craft your rings from a select group of valuable and durable metals. Platinum, silver or one of several grades of gold (10ct, 14ct, or 18 carat). If you desire a rose coloured gold over a yellow then we will alloy pure 24ct gold with atomically pure copper and silver to introduce a reddish colour. Likewise, a more dazzling white or yellow shade can be achieved by alloying a greater quantity of pure silver with pure gold and less copper for your rings. The advantage to using a decreasing carat of gold is an increased strength of the jewellery as pure gold is a relatively very soft metal. If you suffer from any type of metal allergy however, it's generally recommended that you stay above 14kt gold.
